“All Day I Dream” wedding

Sarah & Igor

Sandy Hook, NJ

There are certain moments in life that feel like a dream. Sarah and Igor’s All Day I Dream wedding was exactly that.

All Day I Dream” is an international community within the electronic music scene. Started by the legendary Lee Burridge, ADID events brings together lovers of melodic, feminine, and “dreamy” deep house music. Sarah and Igor initially connected through ADID, and wanted to honor that for their special day.

Their love for music was the base of Sarah and Igor’s special day, which was full of magical moments…

Getting Ready

Sarah and Igor, along with their family and closest friends, stayed a few days in Hazlet, NJ, where they got ready for the wedding. As their wedding photographer, I was invited to join the rehearsal dinner to meet everyone before the big day. It was very special getting to know them, and automatically felt like part of their close circle.

The morning of was super chill. The ladies got ready in a bridal suite while the guys had a hotel room. Breakfast and mimosas were provided, and everyone had a nice time hanging out. Sarah and Igor’s playful side was visible in all the adorable details of the day, such as the unicorns and bubbles you’ll see sprinkled throughout the images.

Ceremony

Once everyone was ready, they made their way to the ceremony site. Sarah grew up Catholic and dreamed of her wedding day to be in a traditional church. They held their ceremony at the beautiful Saint Agnes Parish, Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Sarah and Igor did not do a first look and saw each other for the first time as Sarah was walking down the aisle, accompanied by her father. Guests came all the way from New York City and beyond to witness their sacred union, and gathered at the church for the hour long ceremony. There was a multitude of sacred rituals, holy songs, bible readings, and blessings offered to the happy couple. After exchanging rings and their first kiss, Sarah and Igor were pronounced husband and wife.

Portraits

Sarah and Igor were glowing in their love. Right outside the church, there was a beautiful little garden where we took some quick newlywed portraits.

In order to get a variety of images, we decided to continue with the bridal party and family portraits at the next location - the famous Sandy Hook Beach. Their reception site was right by the water, with a stunning coastline and epic clouds in the sky.

Reception

As special as their day was so far, the outdoor reception was the highlight! They had a large tent set up for guests to sit and relax, and a beautifully decorated outdoor dance floor with floral touches of All Day I Dream.

After making their big entrance, Sarah danced with her father and with Igor. The dance floor then opened up for everyone to join for a few songs. There was so much love, joy, and gratitude flowing (and a lot of colorful umbrellas!)

Everyone gathered under the tent for speeches, dinner, and drinks. Strangers became friends, and the community grew even closer. Even those who couldn’t be present were there in spirit.

Golden Hour Portraits

The magic of the day continued as we were gifted the most beautiful sunset over the water.

Sarah and Igor walked to the beach to fill a small bottle with sand and recite their private vows to each other. We then took advantage of the golden hour and stunning views to to shoot some more portraits. The sunset captured everyone’s attention and numerous guests joined the fun at the beach!

Dance Party

As the day concluded and the night came out, the dance floor became the center of the party. Four different DJs took turns playing incredible sets, including Igor himself! The beautiful coastline was a perfect backdrop to this outdoor dance party, which went well into the starlit night. It was hard to resist not dancing along to the amazing tunes, so my lovely clients eventually invited me to put my camera down and join. It’s a blessing to have so much fun while working…

Love. Music. Art. Presence. Memories. Rituals. Family. Friends. Connection. Gratitude.

Everything you need for a perfect wedding day!
