Life is such a wild ride.

We set up plans around important milestones, yet the journey that we take for these big occasions sometimes takes us instead.

I can’t say we’ve ever blogged about a birthday party before, but this momentous event celebrating Isa’s first year around the sun is definitely one for the books.

This adorable baby is half Bangladeshi, half Romanian, and a bit of a miracle for his family. His parents sparred no effort in properly honoring him with a truly next level party. All ages came together to celebrate this joyful and precious day, complete with a petting zoo and circus performers…

The Venue

Daytime Party

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed to an outdoor garden party.

It was clear that a lot of thought went into providing a multitude of entertainment. There were adorable alpacas dressed as cowboys, makeup artists to face paint children and adults, balloon blowing, the cutest little petting zoo, and plenty of food and beverages.

Isa’s parents made their grand entrance with Isa, who was dressed as a handsome little prince. Many photos were requested and taken, as everyone loved the charming ambience and the opportunity to have a moment captured with Isa. As the sun was coming down and guests made their way to the next chapter of the evening, we took some portraits of Isa, his parents, and his three beautiful older siblings.

Evening Party

The reception party was quite frankly jaw dropping. Upon entering the beautifully decorated indoor space, talented performers greeted the guests with fantastic acts. There was a Dhol player and live band providing the soundtrack, jugglers, stilt walkers, champagne girls, human statues… you name it!

The family also provided entertainment by hosting games, telling stories… And one of Isa’s older brothers even performed an epic rap song dedicated to his little bro!

Incredible BBQ dinner was served, sparklers and confetti illuminated the cake cutting, and everyone danced the night away.
